What is NJVCCC

NJVCCC is a consortium of New Jersey's 19 community colleges.

PROGRAMS OF STUDY

The NJVCCC does not grant degrees. However, seven New Jersey community colleges offer online degrees.

Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) in Mays Landing, New Jersey, offers online Associate in Arts degrees in liberal arts, history, business, humanities, psychology, literature and social science. ACCC offers online Associate in Science degrees in general studies, computer information systems, and business administration. ACCC also offers an Associate in Applied Science degree in business administration and office systems technology. Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey, offers online Associate in Arts degrees in Social Sciences, Philosophy and Religion, Psychology, Sociology, History, and General studies. Bergen also offers an Associate in Science degree in Business Administration, Education, Professional Studies, Management, and Marketing. Burlington County College (BCC) in Pemberton, New Jersey, offers an online Associate in Science degree in business administration and an online Associate in Arts degree in liberal arts. Mercer County Community College (MCCC) in Trenton, New Jersey, offers an online Associate in Applied Science degree in generaI business and an online Associate in Arts degree in humanities and social sciences. Passaic County Community College (PCCC) in Paterson, New Jersey offers an online Associate in Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology. The Health Information Technology Program is accredited by the American Health Information Management Association, and its graduates are eligible to take the national qualifying examination for certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in Summerville, New Jersey offers an online Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration, Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts, and a Management Information Systems Analysis Associate of Scrience Degree in Business Administration. Union County College (UCC) in Cranford, New Jersey offers an online Associate in Science Degree in Liberal Studies (Exploring Science and the Arts), Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Management, and a Associate in Science Degree in Information Systems Technology. Accreditation / Affiliation

All 19 NJVCCC member community colleges are accredited by the Commission of Higher Education, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. All New Jersey community colleges offer credit courses that lead to various associate degrees. Separate from the NJVCCC, many New Jersey community colleges offer other distance learning credit and noncredit courses using television, video, CD-ROM, and radio.
